I am currently the Executive Director at the Howard County Historical Society, which is quite convenient considering that I grew up in Howard County, graduated from a Howard County High School and am raising my two children here. I have been working in the field since 2003, starting with the Maryland Historical Society as the Museum Manager for the Fell's Point Maritime Museum. I have also worked at DC Historical Society, Living Classrooms, Fell's Point Presevation Society, and was the curator of collections and exhibits at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.

My personal interests and hobbies include history (of course), baseball, volleyball, and politics. My favorite museums are "guy" museums: sports museums (Sports Legends and Louisville Slugger), Industrial museums (BMI), and Maritime Museums (Chesapeake Maritime).
