After getting a masters in architectural history, I worked for the state historic preservation in Massachusetts, and as a resident of a historic neighborhood in Baltimore, I have an abiding interest in the built environment. I am on my neighborhood architectural review committee and am active with the Friends of Olmsted. At the Maryland Humanities Council, I run a statewide history competition for middle and high school students.
