Margaret De Arcangelis is the Education and Outreach Director at Preservation Maryland. She directs the Endangered Maryland program, oversees numerous events including our Field Trip series and Preservation Summer School and coordinates our advocacy efforts at the state level. When she’s not in the office, Margaret can be found working with her husband on their 1886 rowhouse in Baltimore that needs lots of love.

My research interests include the ethics of architectural salvage, finding new ways to engage people in the preservation movement and all things related to adaptive reuse.
